[DRAMA] tvN Liar Game (라이어 게임)

After abandoning this blog for so long, I finally had the urge to write another post because I just recently started watching a new k-drama! The k-pop world is facing a lot of crisis right now, so let's focus on the amazing dramas first ㅋㅋㅋ I watched a lot of tvN's dramas and most of them are fun to watch (King of High School, Marriage Not Dating). And I was intrigued by their newest drama on the Monday-Tuesday slot, which has a very interesting premise. Surprisingly, it'll only last for 10 episode, so it's considered a short-drama. I watched 4-episodes so far and enjoying so far. Here's the brief synopsis of the drama:
Various contestants take part in a game show with a prize of 10 billion won. The contestants who can cheat the otehrs wins the prize. Contestants include genius swindler Cha Woo-Jin (Lee Sang-Yoon) and naive college student Nam Da-Jung (Kim So-Eun). ()

Liar Game (라이어 게임) Teaser

This drama was based on a manga with the same title, and was adapted into a Japanese TV series back in 2007 (I think). It's a thrilling psychological-mind games with a lot of plot twists which I love.

Kim So-Eun as Nam Da-Jung
Lee Sang-Yoon as Cha Woo-Jin

Shin Sung-Rok as Kang Do-Young

These three are the only main characters; and there are a lot of side characters that might only show up for 1-2 episodes as their opponents. Kim So-Eun is a great cast to play an innocent and kind young lady. I am currently loving Cha Woo-Jin's character who's a genius and fits perfectly in the Liar Game. And Shin Sung-Rok plays Kang Do-Young's character perfectly with that wicked look of his. I think he's really popular in dramas this year.

Since this drama is also a game about money, we get to see what people would and could do for the sake of money and their greed. The games in the Liar Game also keeps changing every round, so there's always new excitement and tricks going on. So far there's been 2 Rounds, and going to the 3rd one. I'm really curious to see how the story's going to turn out.

I think this drama is going to get even more exciting as it goes.
I'm just sad it's only 10-episodes long ㅠㅠ

[MUSIC] INFINITE (인피니트) - Be Back (Repackage) + Back MV

I'm having trouble breathing when I found out INFINITE (인피니트) is coming back again after their last comeback Last Romeo. I am so excited even just watching the teasers, and I know I'm going to love it. I've been replaying it for days now :3 For those who haven't seen it yet, check out MV below ( ' 3 ')~
01. Season 2
02. Last Romeo
03. Back *NEW
04. Diamond *NEW
05. Follow Me
06. 로시난테
07. 숨 좀 쉬자
08. Light (SungKyu Solo)
09. Alone (Infinite H)
10. Memories
11. 나란 사람
12. Reflex
13. 미치겠어 (Infinite F)
14. 눈을 감으면 (WooHyun Solo)
15. 소나기

INFINITE (인피니트) - Back

"I think of each memory that I should forget
Season after season
I want you back in my arms
Please don’t lose me
Like the spring wind that passed over me
Can you save, can you save me"

Even though I'm not a big fan of the MV (because I think it's rather pointless, and I don't really understand the story), I absolutely love the song. The song that started with a mellow tune builds up until the refrain with the dance break is totally giving me chills! The song is strong and catchy right from the start, and I kept thinking "this is so Infinite!". I also love the amazing choreography! I was hoping to see the complete choreography in the MV because the live shows shoots in different angles - but there are only some dance parts in the MV. Woollim, please give me dance version MV or at least their dance practice :3♥♥
As for the other song in this repackaged album, Diamond, is a ballad-song that I'm not really into. I still prefer Back over that song. I really hope they win lots of award with this song! I have watched several of their live performances, and I think they did extremely well. All members got equal parts and their live singing is great :D 인피니트 짱!

[MUSIC] BEAST (비스트) - 6th Mini Album 'Good Luck' MV

One of my favorite group of all time, BEAST (비스트), is finally back with a new mini-album! YAYY! The title track for this album, Good Luck, is again written and composed by Yong Jun-Hyung and I absolutely love love it! And this time, fellow member Ki-Kwang also took part in songwriting for the track History. For those who haven't seen it yet, check out MV below ( ' 3 ')~
01. We Up
02. Good Luck
03. Dance With U
04. 이젠 아니야
05. History
06. 이 밤 너의 곁으로
07. Sad Movie (Korean Ver.)

 BEAST (비스트) - Good Luck

Good luck baby Good luck to you
You better be happy
If you’re leaving me, the one who only knew and looked at you.
Good luck baby Good luck to you
No matter who you meet
you better be as happy as the amount of pain you’ve left me with.

Yes yes yess I love the title track! I was hooked right from the beginning of the MV when the intro was some sorts of strings instrumental. I'm also loving the dark and gloomy concept of heartbreak. The song itself is a much stronger dance song compared to Shadow, it's pretty upbeat. I also love their choreography for this song - especially the V hand-sign when saying 'Good Luck' ! And of course, Dong-Woon's face is perfection (as he knows it).
As for the mini album itself, I also love their pre-released song: 이젠 아니야 (No More), which is an R&B track, with mellow beat. I also enjoyed History and Sad Movie (Korean Ver.) from this mini-album. Overall, it was a pretty satisfying comeback for me - because I am always and forever waiting for BEAST to release new songs and MVs. I'm so looking forward to their live performances, and I hope they will win! Jun-Hyung oppa deserves some awards! ㅋㅋㅋ

Jun. K (준케이) - NO LOVE (Korean Ver.)

" Baby, was it a dream?
When I looked at you, my heart was about to explode, about to melt,
I didn’t want to wake up..."

Actually i didn't expect this coming (that the album will be released in Korea), but i'm soooo happy and excited for him! His album was a big success in Japan so i'm glad that JYP Entertainment decided to release it in Korea. I hope this album will charmed a lot of people in Korea. ^_^

Talking about the album, NO LOVE is definitely my #1 favorite, along with NO MUSIC NO LIFE (Feat. Ai). Even though the Japanese version of NO LOVE is already good, i prefer the Korean version. Some changes in the lyrics and melody make it even better.<3 Not to mention the lyrics; It's just so beautiful yet hurtful.

I was watching the MV on Youtube and reading all the comments below it, and suddenly i feel like crying. lol. I can only see good reviews all over it. :") I didn't realize that i was smiling like a proud mom (?) XD Jun. K is my ultimate bias, and i'm so happy that he finally get recognize for his music. He is such a talented singer and songwriter, it's just that he's so underrated. I feel really sad to say that, but that's a fact. I hope with this album, many people will realize and supporting him as a singer and songwriter, not only as a member of 2PM. :)
